“The suit names Polymer80 as “by far” the largest seller of ghost guns, with its components used in 1,278 of 1,475 untraceable firearms seized by the Bureau of Tobacco, Alcohol, and Firearms in 2019.”

1,475 “untraceable firearms” seems like a drop in the bucket compared to the number of “legal firearms” that are sold each year. I know that doesn’t matter because the real purpose is to put businesses like Polymer80 out of business.

How do they know Polymer80 is the ones supplying the ghost guns? Are they putting S/N on them? Are they putting their name on them?

Sad to say it, but if the answer is yes, then they get what they get. If you gonna advertise/sell Ghost guns, then by God, MAKE them ghost guns!

Edited to add: and if your DUMB enough to ship a ghost gun to your HOUSE, then you get what you get.

Polymer80 sold kits advertised as “Buy, Build, Shoot” that included all the parts plus an 80% receiver that the end user had to complete in order to have a functioning firearm. The ATF decided that the kit was equivalent to a complete firearm. I’m sure the P80 80% frames are easy to distinguish.

This happens every time we come up with a product to “work around” existing regs. Should be legal, but currently isn’t. The plus side of it is that this sort of thing keeps them busy instead of going after those things that are still legal.

The left has more than enough (can use manpower crap!) peoplepower(is that nontrinary enough?) to work both fronts at the same time, your thought process on this is flawed. Please reconsider

No, my thought process is as valid as any other on here. Yes, there are many forces working against 2A, so we should be focusing on those that are actually issues rather than those that we have brought on ourselves by continually looking for "work-around" ideas. Work to change laws, not work to find ways to cheat the system.
