I work with the data every day. The numbers started dropping well before the vaccine was offered outside of the Tier I group (and before any of the Tier I's had their second dose). Not sure why we're seeing this; if it could be due to a lower herd threshold than they estimated, whether the Tier I's first dose was ultra effective along with lower herd threshold, etc. One thing I know by working with this data for the past 9 months, is that having everyone isolated didn't necessarily correlate to 'flattening the curve'. It will be interesting to see the studies that will be released in the near future

I DO agree with that. So many have gotten it and recovered just fine for sure. However, the metric I saw to achieve significant herd immunity was a vaccination rate of 30%. That and the hospitalization rates are dropping significantly.... for Covid that is.
30% is over a million peeps. Has OK received that many? I have no idea but I thought it was much less to date.

Correct..... but we don't have complete herd immunity right now either. The numbers are declining as the vaccinations are rising.

Mayo cited a study that Israeli study that showed ~75% efficacy 15 days after the first dose with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. It rises to ~89% after the second per the study they cited.

Cold weather naturally decreases outdoor activity for most folks, especially the beach party crowd (lol, largely "irresponsible youth" as it were).

So... intentional or not, there's gonna be less group contact in cold weather other than holiday gatherings, which we're well past.

You post propaganda by far and large and anyone with half a brain can see that. Have you noticed that hardly anyone engages in your threads? I'd imagine you talk completely over people in person, never listening, only waiting for your turn to talk.

I really don't care what you post about ivermectin, again, sprinkle it on your Wheaties and believe it's a miracle drug. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't..... it surely is less proven with regards to Covid than the Vaccines that are out there. (gasp!!!) I know this will blow your mind, but it's the truth. Don't care if you take a vaccine, but don't try to fill me or others full of constant FUD because people are just too educate for that.

your a ****ing liar .. when presented with actual evidence that you made a mistake. you dodge and tell more lies.

I've already posted detailed technical data on why COVID tests generate high false positives and why RT PCR tests are NOT suited to ID any disease. if you actually understood the topic you would understand why COVID rates have fallen.

I don't hear of the Covid positives being sent home with only a suggestion of "go to the ER if you feel like you are dying. I hear of Covid positives getting 2 or 3 prescriptions.
That in itself will have significant impact on the number of hospitalizations.

Note: I didn't say it is the only reason for the lower numbers.
