Nice crappie Jared.
One thing one needs to think about with the spring sand bass run is that Ok experienced record cold temps recently.
The water temps in the lakes are still colder than normal years that doesn't put the sand bass into the spawning mode.
They are staging from what I'm hearing but still in the lakes waiting on warmer rains/temps in the creeks to get them started on their runs.
I know in years past, young male sandbass were caught this time of year in the creeks, but none of the fishing reports that I read today from the ODW in Northern OK showed any sand bass reports.
A week can make a huge difference depending on the weather and water temps.
