There may be a gun in the trunk the deputy overlooked.... On the car, it looks like a Chrysler product and who in their right mind would want that? I guess it could be used for a greenhouse...

It’s hilarious at this point. Thank goodness those of us associated with the ranch have plenty of minutes bought for our phones cuz it’s been a week full of folks callin us sayin “hey there’s a car in yalls hay meadow off 88”. Yup we reply. The funny ones are those that swear it wasn’t there yesterday. Lol. I say it’s been there several days. Nobody has shown up to claim it. We discussed today that we may try to retrieve it tomorrow so we can slow the phone calls down. Might hook a flatbed to the tractor and winch it up on there. That’d probably create the least damage to ground and vehicle.

I had a guy that was going stiff me on a rebuild for his engine.
I had the engine built and ready to drop in and heard about the stiffin I was going to get.
The guy called me and I told him the engine was pulled and in the bed of the truck and I knew what his plans were.

He cursed and hollered and just made a fool of himself said he never intended to pay. (WOW)
I said I will drag the truck out to the street and he has about 30 minutes before the city impounds it.

The engine I stuck in the bed of the truck was another one I had that was good and I placed it all the way to the front of the bed.
Knowing the wrecker would pick up the truck from the front and that engine would roll to the tailgate and U shape the tailgate in the process.

That is just what happened.

His son worked with me at FAA and was given 2 weeks to get his ET2 schooling started or be let go and just did nothing but smoke pot.
His son tried to get me fired for helping government employees .
Odd reason to be fired I thought.
I was not fired.
This was 20 years ago.
Him and his dad were best buddies.

Weirdo's

Yea I can have a mean streak.
When I am not under my comfy rock.

We actually lucked out a little bit as far as getting it out of the field. I knew from the other day the keys were gone. I assumed it being an automatic that it’d be in park. Turned out to be in drive so I just bumped it to neutral and we towed it right across the field with the tractor. Man it was still soggy wet out there. Your shoes sank a couple inches just walking around. I politely unplugged the wiring harness that was keeping the front bumper attached and gently placed the bumper inside the vehicle. I did notice a Haynes manual for that particular car in the backseat. The owner probably planned to fix it up nice to attend car shows n such.
