Need reccomenations for easy to start chainsaw

Does he know it needs fuel?? He may be one of those that need the warning to not drink battery fluid.......

Was up in the pecan trees last Sunday and the wife was saying very bad things down on the ground.

...last time I saw him he was up in the pecan tree drinking Everclear...thought he was a freakin' squirrel I guess.

Just yesterday, I bought a Portland 14" electric chainsaw from Harbor Freight. It's got a 9amp motor. It'll do anything I will ever need in my yard. It was $47.97 --- you can't hardly buy a bar and chain for that!!

My right shoulder just can't stand the yanking on a starter rope anymore.

Decompression button? Edit: so there isn't any compression when you pull, eh? That sounds like it's worth looking into.

Have it on my Husqvarna and its great. Pull start a 55cc engine in one or two pulls. making sure your equipment is tuned up helps a lot. I use the prepackaged 97 octane premix personally. Its more expensive but it works great, easy to transport, and they added 2 additional years of warranty just for buying 3 of them.

Husqvarna and Milwaukee both make good electric chainsaws as well. The guys at the dealership were actually bragging about how good the Husky was. I dont have experience with the Dewalt but I imagine its just as good. Problem is that most electric saws are typically of the gardening/limbing variety. but if thats all you need, I saw its the way to go. Also gives you an excuse to buy more batteries and a few accompanying power tools to go with.....

I have always had a lot of trouble cranking two cycle engines. Chainsaws especially. Any reccomendations?

I’ve got several Stihls. Some old and some new. All are easy to start when they are tuned properly and the Stihl starting procedure is followed. Stihl does offer an easy2start model in their smaller saws. Maybe the 251cbe or something like that. My wife grandfather has been cutting firewood with it for probably 5yrs. It’s pretty awesome in how easy it is to pull and how short of stroke it takes. I’ve got a Stihl weedeater with that system. Bought it two or three years ago. It’s been sitting in the garage for 6 months. 4-5 short pulls and it was running. Used it again today. Prime bulb, full choke, one pull, engine popped, half choke, one pull, off to weedeating. Warm starts just take pulling the rope 8-10” with no choking. Cordless chainsaws are great for certain stuff but if I had to pick just one it’d be gas.

I have a Harbor Freight electric pole saw and it cuts great except extended I can't hold it long due to a bad shoulder. And I also have a cheapie $39.00 electric chain saw from Lowes which cuts without fail through all sorts of wood. Both are easy on my ears too since they aren't gas powered. Hearing-once it's gone, it's gone.

i have the milwaukee 18 volt fuel. i am amazed how well it works. advice--- get two 6ah batts rather than the single 12ah batt. makes the saw lighter and you can charge one while using the other.
