Paddlefishing

Great day on the water at Ft. Gibson yesterday. Estimated over 300# of fish caught and, of course, my 14yo daughter caught the biggest and the most fish.

Big thanks to my friend and coworker for taking us out.

Interesting timing—the episode of Outdoor Oklahoma that aired this morning was about the run of paddlefish records that were set on Keystone last year.

We had several that went 50# or better. This one probably was 60 or just over.

Nice day! Did you notice if any of the paddlefish had ODWC tags near their dorsal fins?

Son got a tagged one and the tag was in the lower lip.
