OSBI may have set a record on permit renewal!

March 14th, I renewed my Oklahoma CCW permit online. Website was running smoothly no issues.

March 16th, email saying it's been accepted.

March 29th, new permit arrives with an approval letter.

That might be a new record! Hope it goes that smooth in the next 10.

I've been told to really focus on the picture. I went to the post office and got a passport photo and uploaded it via the web. It's got to be good to they kick it, I've been told

Thanks for the info, good to know. I would renew it now but I read on the website you can only do it 6 months prior to expiration if I remember correctly. Mine is good thru July next year.

When I did mine a couple years ago I just took a selfie with a white wall behind me. They mainly want shoulders included in the picture and centered.

I’m not sure why it has to look good though. On my previous license my picture looks like they stretched it and I was the character from old Cher movie the Mask. It was totally distorted and that was from the OSBI
