Note to self, remember your phone.

Norman report:

Academy had 9, 40, 45acp, 7.62x39, 308, 270, 5.56, 12, and 20. Good supply of all except the shot shells.

Wal-Mart had nothing.

Atwood's had 5.56, 22-250, and 6CM.

This ammo pandimic even involves shotshells which none of the others did.
I've got a hundred pounds of shot and a progressive reloader so not in a panic but just noted the shotshells were involved in this disaster.
I wonder how many of em were able to get anything.
The neckbeards that are gouging on ammo prices were likely in front of the line screaming I'm gonna sell this at 3X what I bought it for to make a buck and screw our fellow shooters while thumping their chests saying they are just selling at "market prices".
No, they bought at market prices and are reselling at gouging prices. Shooters screwing shooters. Sad to see this.

Pretty sure it's been said, blame the buyers. If people wouldn't pay gouging prices the neckbeards would be out of business. Heck it's really tempting to sell off part of my stash at what some are willing to pay.

I’d bet half of these jack wagons aren’t even shooters. I don’t like them. Matter of fact I Hope their house floods or burns down.

I partially agree with you. But like last year if you couldn’t find toilet paper and the only toilet paper you found was three times higher, would you have paid for it? And then some of this is panicking because the eyes of the sheep are finally opening. When you have certain parts of the population calling for the removal of police, people tend to get panicked because of democrat policies. They are taking the republics law order for granted and now are rushing to finally get something to protect them and their love ones.

I don't know those who show up early enough to be the front of the line. But, it is a very consistent set of people who are showing up. About half have something hiding under their belt line. A few do open carry. My wife has struck up conversations with a few of the ladies up there, most have been shooters, my favorite is a lady who shows up irregularly but she video chats with her husband to get him what he wants. I have also had several conversations with new shooters who are upset because they want to shoot as they never knew it would be fun to just shoot, kind of feel sorry for them.

Personally, I have the need to keep my wife shooting as she is still working on her skill sets. So, I keep going with or without her.

Yeah, the prices are up a few dollars, but the MSRP have raised lately so it is in line with that. Still a 2 box limit. So, my wife can shoot 1 and save the other to shoot later if we cannot get ammo when she goes out next.

Bought some 50 round Blazer 9 a couple weeks ago for $19/box. Thought that was decent price.

Yes two box limit.

Have you noticed the pricing on .223/5.56?

It's gone up about 20% from what I've seen. I saw a bulk box of 5.56 a month or so ago for $100, a few weeks later it went up to $120. It may have gone up a little since...been out of the loop since we lost our car, unfortunately.
