Would have been nice if they had a range. They would have had people lining up for lanes and rentals.
Easy enough to do. Say, ten lanes at $100,000 each. Only need a cool million for the necessary HVAC/Filtration systems, bullet traps, range retrieval systems, insulation, and so on. Easy peasy.

Thinking about this question today on brick and mortar gun stores. Village Tactical, COPS, Gunworld, H&H, C&J, and Big Boys Guns are about the only true local gun stores left (that I could think of). I know of Academy, pawn shops, etc. Kinda sad when I heard Bargain Guns in Purcell closed. :cry11:
I can remember Southwest Shooters, Mashburn Arms, Outdoor America, Marks Firearms, etc.

All the online buyers are forgetting if the store doesn’t charge you sales tax for ok, you are supposed to track it and report it on your taxes.

I was in Duncan yesterday and we drove by Murf's. I have heard some on here talk about them, in good terms, and they had a parking lot full both for the store and for the range. I was with some other folks so I didn't have a chance to visit, but it certainly looks like a local store that will be worth checking out.

Most of the prices i saw from him were MSRP plus some. But if the locals close up, then who will we have do our transfers?

I live like 2 blocks from Sooner State Pawn. They have always been good about transfers and just customer service in general. Reminds me or when Iraqveteran8888 was working at Moss Pawn. Knowledgeable staff and helpful.

This possibly isn't even considering home-based FFLs who don't carry much inventory at all and order things for customers when requested at about a 10-15% mark-up if that. Not even worth the investment in many cases to try and compete with the Primary Arms of the world.

And with a stroke of her pen President Harris outlawed mail order sales of guns and ammo.
No new ffl's will be issued. Only existing storefronts will be allowed to operate.
Home based ffl's will have 30 days to turn in their licenses. Hmmmm!
