Lady at the Customer Service counter at the OKC Bass Pro told me awhile back that a guy that owned a trucking company uses a BP CC for his trucks fuel needs.
She said every November he comes in, leaves with cases of rifles to give as Christmas Presents to the drivers.
I haven’t been to a BP in years so don’t know what firearms they stock these days.
We have a member on here that has a cabelas rewards card. He is always telling me about things like game cams etc he is getting for free. I’m pretty sure miles are transferable between the two.
The CC companies make their $$ from those that don’t pay their balance in full monthly.
We accumulate air miles for travel, although you wouldn’t catch me on an airplane with the mask restrictions currently enforced by the cabin crews.

There is heck of a lot of more strategy in it than just that.

Show me a wealthy man who can say he did it by CC rewards. LOL, wont happen
And they took your money to pay those rewards and still profit. Maybe not your money but many.

Nobody is going to get wealthy by CC points. You can sure get some nice paybacks though.
They are designed as incentives to take their card and hope you won’t pay them off in full monthly.
Most don’t and that is where they pay for those incentives.
We do American Airlines points for travel.
Get points for CC use, dining, and online shopping.
Business pay the CC company if one logs on to their website through the AA app.
Lots of online services do that.
We have done pretty well. Accumulating enough points to fly 1st class anywhere in the world more than once.

*Never said I was wealthy.
I don't overuse or overspend. Just collect points for years, also have a BOA rewards card. Fuel, bills, anything you purchase, if you leave that percentage on the table ok. I'll go pm

I think my BP rewards card is something around $140. Do all of my shopping there online.
