Before I start, yes you can learn from videos an in a group too but reading a manual is your best bet.

In my mind the manual covers everything you need to know. Nothing is left out.
I say this because I've had friends who wanted to learn but didn't want to read the instructions.

All say is .....come on man.. spend a little time learning.

One thing I learned in the Air Force is the manual tells you what you need to know.

I can’t tell where the OP is attempting to go with this thread, but I’ve been reloading for about 20 years and have never watched a video or read a manual on reloading. In my opinion, finding a “mentor” is the best way to learn.:anyone:
I did use videos, read everything I could get my hands on and asked massive amounts of questions . Checked, rechecked and obsessed on things I prolly would not have had to had I known someone that reloaded when I started . The number one thing is measuring pistol brass lol.............. The few times I was seeing issues it was fixed by zeroing the calipers .

Lee wack-a-mole or Lee Classic loader as they are called now had instructions and a scooper.
Everything but components and you needed a hammer.

Taught me what I needed to know to make my own ammo from cases fired in that weapon .

Super basic, super cheap and easy.
I fell into the big hole later.

I'm sorry,I was in rant mode. Recently I've had too many people buy stuff and rather than reading the instructions they asked me to show them everything.

Now I don't mind showing but I think it helps to put a little study in first.

Gotcha , now it all makes since!! We need to work on your rant skills though, pretty level headed rant . If ya want to see a rant , do a ride along with me to work while I am dealing with construction knuckle heads. :explode::cool:
