I was there for the milling of the stock
What was it milled from? Specs? I've got prints for the gunmetal designs 'Big 50' for whenever I get my hands on a lathe/mill...lol
I can't think of a single reason why I would ever NEED a rifle like this, but dangit... I WANT IT!!!!
I remember the original post. Glad to see it came together. Looks bad ass!
The stock was cut from A36 steel plate, 1 3/4" thick. I drew up the basic design in Auto CAD and we transfered it to Mike's burn table and let the torch & computer do the work. All the mounting points and such were more of a shoot from the hip, lets see what works approach so I don't have any drawing. It would be real eazy to make a set now that its done.

Looks sweet. Is that a custom action from scratch or pre-built?

For the longest time I though ti was cut out of Al. Hah.
