I love seeing those old pics with deer/birds/etc laying out in the street, across peoples hoods, and even in portrait studios. Back before people got thier panties in a wad over seeing what thier meat looked like before it hit their table.

The two raptors. One appears to be an eagle. Either a Golden or immature bald, my guess is Golden. The other looks to be a common red-tail.

I love seeing all those old pics. It really makes me feel like a big wimp. They did not have any travel trailers, protable heaters, fancy hunting clothes, or any kind of scopes (except the guy holding the little girl). Really makes you think about how lucky we are to get to hunt like we do even if you dont seen anything. I would like to see a group hunt like they did back in the day, see how long they last. Now put that on the outdoor channel.

Although not old hunting pics, the subject of these pictures is quite old. A box of Western 30.06 Silvertips. Not sure of the exact age, but I'm guessing 50's maybe? To bad ammo prices aren't still as cheap as the $1.80 price written on the front of the box.

Unfortunately the 6 bullets that were in the box when I got it weren't silvertips. These have the W-W Super stamp on the bottom. Once again not sure how old, but they look like they have some age to them.

HAHA! I was in my reloading cabinet just awhile ago and spotted some 30-06 boxes from TG&Y for $3 and some change.
