Google for a product called Black WOW. Has the same appearance as using trim dressing, but reported to be much more long lasting..

But on a '99 Jeep, I'd just take off the fenders and give them a fresh coat of paint. It's just plastic, anyway, and if you go off-road, you'll screw them up in no time.

But that's what Jeeps should be doing. Getting dirty and dinged up, but getting you out of the impossible.

back to black is what we used on our old cherokee, but, you have to do it once a month, atleast.. It never lasted..

theres some krylon paint made specifically for plastic that chemically bonds, but it will be a partially glossy black.. and will be difficult to make it look "professional", if your attempting to keep your jeep "clean" looking..

our current YJ is fenderless, so, no worries if you go that route.. They get ripped off when you go offroading anyway..

I saw a video on YouTube about using a heat gun. With the spray paint, I would think flat or satin finish would be best. I'm a little hesitant to break out the spray can on my new toy.
