Am I mistaken, or are you guys on your way up to BridalVeil Falls above Telluride? I've been to the powerhouse from the other direction!... that is, coming down Black Bear Pass! Did you guys attempt tha "Bear"?

Here is our 2010 Rubicon. It's our first jeep. Besides being a dog in the power department we are pretty happy with it. She drives it most of the time.

. Yes, you are correct. No, we didn't do the Bear. We were on our way back to Ouray from Mesa Verde. I really went there to pick up a few growlers in town but had a little extra time to explore. Beautiful area!

A funny side note. We were in my dads scrambler when be came down Black Bear last time. It was rainy and slick as snot. My mom was so nervous that she made me and my brother ( and her) get out and walk through the stair steps. I think she cussed him for about an hour afterwards. But hell, it's not like you can turn around at that point. I'll never forget that trip. We did Imogene and Tomechi pass that same trip, too... Along with many others. I am going to go back one of these days and scare the hell out of my wife!
