Let me remind you that the Crusades was a war started by the church and perpetrated on the islamic "barbarians".

Oh great, here we go again. The Crusades were a response to the Muslims invading the Holy Land.

Also, I might mention that Islam is a peaceful religion.

Any religion whose expansion comes at the point of a sword is not peaceful, no matter how many times you repeat it. Muhammad was nothing more than a nomadic warlord using a religion he created in order to justify his conquests.

So does the old testament. The old testament and the Quran are very similar. Are you not listening? Pretty sure that is a no.

They do rise up and condemn the terrorists, but they are afraid. When a muslim group shows their faces on TV or in the paper, some redneck tries to shoot them. Oh, wait, they were actually punjabs, but a turban is all the same, right? Their countries are run my fundamentalist dictators that kill anyone who speaks out. Do you blame a North Korean farmer for the policies of Kim Jong Un? That would be ludicrous. By that right, you are the one responsible for Obama and nancy pelosi.
I have many Arab christian friends that spent thier lives living with muslims and they laugh and marvel at how Americans spend so much money and resource's on people who only want to kill or control us.muslims despise us and our way of life, but believe what you want as foolish as it may be.

where were these wonderful muslims rushing to the aid of our embassy in libya, they didn't because they condone these acts against us,even the kind peaceful muslims that were being paid to protect our people helped to kill them. get your head out of the sand, just because some one tells you they love you then knife in your back should alert you other wise.

Oh no need for name calling.
I thought you said "Christians"
Those who follow the teachings of Christ.
The passages you cite refer to those living under the law of moses.

Exactly. People who denigrate Christianity often quote the Old Testament. The New Testament contains the teachings of Christ and is what should validly be referenced. The Old Law vs the New Law.

From the department of full disclosure- I was raised a baptist and attended a catholic private school. I do not belong to a church, nor do I care to. I am a christian, but I feel that organized religion is a big part of the world's problems. That said, I don't condemn the people that follow organized religion, to each his own. It is when you start pushing your beliefs on everyone else that we find ourselves in the middle of an unwanted holy war. Many christians want to convert the muslims, the fundamentalist muslims want the christians out of their countries. Why? Who gives a crap who someone 8,000 miles or 8 steps away from you prays to? what business is it of yours? Do you think Jesus was knocking on doors pushing christianity onto everyone he met? No. He simply spoke to those that wanted to listen. Oh, and by the way, your god, is the same god they pray to, but their book was written by different men.

Everybody must get stoned

Now you're talking!

If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city. Deuteronomy 22:23-24

Meh, Deuteronomy. Moses was a little off his rocker.

Wouldn't you be a little grumpy if you wandered in the desert for 40 freakin' years?
