Any updates from the hearing this evening? I had to leave just before 8:00 and they will still going.
Judge Dynda Post shut down the range. I heard the story from point and laugh. She is....a you know what.
Damn. That blows.

Well, lets hope things work out in favor of the range.
Sounds to me the person operating the range should have gotten the proper permits and zoning taken care of first. Everything else is blah blah..
I hope the variance is granted, because there are very few gun ranges that offered what this one did.
I did a little research on the case (it's what I do for a living) and I think the judge got pissed off because the range posted a big sign on their front gate listing the names of all neighbors who filed the suit. The judge considered that "witness intimidation" or something similar and ordered the sign taken down when she closed the range.
Hopefully the range's attorneys didn't suggest putting up that sign... Rule 1. - don't piss off the judge. Rule 2. - don't piss off the jury pool.
