Back in the late 60s this sort of thing would have been common behavior, so common that reaction to it would have pretty much been nil. Now, this kind of thing provokes outrage. I'm glad I lived long enough to see the change in our respect for those who serve and have served.

Yep. Some things you simply do not joke about. And some places are not appropriate to joke around in. Arlington Cemetary is one of those places. How one can stand, look at all those headstones and not feel the loss and sacrifice represented there is beyond me.

Yup. My Dad is buried there. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get the "joke"

Lighten up Francis. I don't think most of you even understand what she was doing.

The sign says "Silence and Respect". She is doing just the opposite as a joke. Notice she is yelling and giving the middle finger, the exact opposite of what the sign says. I'm sure it was a goof involving the sign and had absolutely nothing to do with her feelings towards Arlington Cemetery.

I believe in the 1st Amendment, even if your speech proves you to be a moron. That's all part of the deal.

Ever been to Arlington? Ever had a friend or family member interred there? I'll assume not, otherwise you'd sing a different tune. I find little of value in your post. :(

Disturbing the peace or disobeying the rules if a National Cemetery is punishable up to 3-5 years in a state prison and $300,000 fine. Read your laws and then learn what you can do with freedom of speech
