Knife sharpening OKC area

Have taken them to the fellow on MacArthur before, long time ago, but keep hearing complaints about his service and as always his hours of operation. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?
My hunting knives are pretty dull now. Thanks.

get a quality sharpening system and learn how to do it yourself. Been using a Spyderco 204 and a leather strop for years and it has served me well.

I use the 4 sided diamond sharpener system and an old boot top to keepem slicing

a strop belt on a 1 inch table top sander is what we use at deer camp. you can put a razor edge on a knife. i think the belt was about thirty bucks and the sander was a cheapy from harbor freight.

No offense to anyone using a WorkSharp, but I would never ever use one on any of my knives. I might use one on a lawn-mower blade but never a knife I cared about.

+1 - Short term sharp, long term destruction. its a sure way to ruin a good knife.

All the suggestions so far have been DIY.

I look at it like mowing my yard, Yes I can do it myself, but it always turns out better when someone else does it!!! :naughty:

I used the dude on MacAuthur ONCE. My blade was more dull leaving the shop then when I took it in.
