As above, what portion, if any, of the SDA addresses licensed carry in mass transit centers? Airports: before security, bus stations, train stations, etc. Going to the airport tonight to pick up my mother, and will enter to meet her at the baggage claim, but I will not be anywhere near the security checkpoint. Can/would the TSA still ball me up if I'm caught? Better to leave it in car out of sight? Thoughts, questions, comments please?

I believe at airports it is legal everywhere until you pass security. Don't take that as gospel, just as a further vote of "I think so."

TSA will not do anything on pre-security areas, it would be airport police. I'd look for the gungbuster sign on the door. TUL has decided to post the terminal here in Tulsa and so far, no legal challenges to it have been presented.

Will Rogers World Airport is owned by the City of Oklahoma City, therefore it is a government building.

I have carried at the airport to drop off and pick up people from time to time and have never had a problem, but I never go into the building. I always wait outside the baggage claim area.

Most bus lines are public trusts with a city as the beneficiary so the buildings are off limits as government buildings but the area around the building is exempt from being prohibited.

I wouldn't be happy about it, but that's probably what I'd do. Unless you've taken care of everything except the pickup before you arrive and you can just go directly to the booth at the lot.

I'd err on the side of caution and leave the firearm in your vehicle.

When I pick up or drop off people at the airport I even take my gun out of it's holster if I'm getting out of the car.

Really don't need an uninformed citizen or cop to see it, and start a panic.
