After more than a few AR builds ( My latest and best so far is my 18 inch 6.8spc), I had the urge to move on up to a .308. While checking on my silencer paperwork at Sooner State Pawn, I ran across a Palmetto State Armory PTAC .308 lower for the very reasonable price of $119, so I thought to my self, why the hell not. Then with the help of 7th element firearms ( I cant say enough great things about either of these places), the lower is now complete, Though I will be upgrading the trigger. I do understand that the PSA lower takes the proprietary PSA upper, but after that, everything else is DPMS/SR-25. I know that you guys are gonna ask " what's this rifle gonna be for?". Well, I'm not trying to make this a 800-1000 yard super duper swat alpha team sniper rifle. I'm also going to be shooting it suppressed. But I do want an accurate, well balanced, mobile rifle for hunting, 3gun, fun, SHTF. So with all this in mind, what barrel length/material ( stainless, CMV, chrome lined etc.), sights, bolt, charging handle, optic, rail system/hand guards, buffer weight etc.. The only thing that is off the board is the muzzle device has to be compatible with a slincerco specwar. So, you guys tell me what you would like to see, I'm all ears.
