This includes a retention holster for your pistol; mine is a Safariland 6378 at 3 o'clock on a DFA with the leg strap mod here:http://www.itstactical.com/gear/secure-your-safariland-6004-for-mid-ride/

I can't +1 this mod enough. I did the same for my M9 and have never looked back. The stability of a drop leg with the comfort of a hip-mount. If you do it right, you center it right at your thigh's pivot point so your hips bear the weight and not your leg, thus less leg fatigue when moving fast/long. Plus if you do don a PC, it's low enough that your draw won't be obstructed by the sides, especially if you have side SAPI's.

Traditional battle belts have a huge flaws. First, they are overly bulky and heavy for what they're going to be carrying. Also, they will ride up when you crouch and bounce around when you're running. They add a lot of weight and the bulk is unnecessary what what you're going to be carrying.

The trend now is going towards a low profile / slick inner and outer belt system. Basically you have an inner trouser belt that has hook or loop velcro. You then have a 1.75" or 1.5" stiff web belt that you wear on the outside that attaches to your inner belt using the velcro. Your mags, IFAK, holster, ect are all attached to the smaller outer belt.

This makes a setup that is tons lighter, far more low profile and slick, and actually more comfortable than a USGI War Belt type system. Not only that, the belt won't shift, ride up, or bounce around.

There's an off the shelf solution from High Threat Concealment that MAC talks about in his video and he talks about some of the same problems / issues I have with a traditional War Belt system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF3zjnrPhkw.

G-Code is now getting into the game with their own low profile Scorpion system. Much like how AR's used to have heavy quad rails that were bogged down with weight and accessories to now thinner profile and lighter / slick setups, belts and carriers are going through the same transition. Lighter and slick is the way the industry is going and it's a good thing.

If you want a slick, low profile belt system, but absolutely have to have PALS webbing for molle attachements. Volund makes a 2" micro battle belt that has micro pals webbing. It's quickly becoming the standard for bets and the only one in it's class, currently. http://store.volundgearworks.com/in...atlas-cobra-belt/atlas-micro-battle-belt.html

I'd take a photo of my belt setup, but I'm away from home right now. I basically made my own low profile setup. I have an inner trouser belt with hook velcro on the outside. I then have an SOE Riggers belt with loop velcro on the inside to mate with the trouser belt. Attached, I have a G-Code RTI holster, 2 taco rifle pouches in a offset lowered setup using the raven concealment modu-loader system and 2 pistol taco pouches using the modu-loader system, as well. I have a medical IFAK on the back side, which is a LBT and a tourniquet / medical sheers holder.

I've gotten a lot of questions about my setup everytime I wear it at a class or a shoot. People can't believe how low profile and minimal it is while being super stable with no movement or shifting.

I'm going this direction myself. Wanted something with more capability than a regular gun belt but always hated the LBE belts and battle belts are just a modernized version of that.

I went with HSGI's velcro backed 1.75 cobra with an inner belt and some tacos. I'll see how it works out.

Yep, pretty much my setup and I love it. Have had several people copy my setup after seeing mine in person and even trying it on.

I like my rifle mags to sit a little lower so that the highest point of the magazine is right about the top of my belt line, similar to my pistol mags. To do this, the mags need to sit a little lower, but not all the way down on my thigh like a drop leg rig.

The only solution I've found that works (and works extremely well) is the modu-loader system from Raven Concealment. Their subload base is what I use to have that perfect drop set that is low enough, but not too low. http://raven-concealment-systems1.mybigcommerce.com/moduloader-frames-subload-base/

The last piece I need is a belt mounted dump pouch with integrated IFAK like AWS makes for their LAB system. I like the idea of saving space by combining the two.

I've tried to buy one from AWS for over a week but their website is archaic and their telephone customer service is lacking...
