Short answer...no..................................................

Lol, you guys suck bad.....but I have to say....I'm not actually ashamed of it, in fact I'm fairly proud of it. I grew up on farms and in the country as a preachers kid,. It nearly killed my parents when I went to Law school, I spent 11 years as a trial lawyer, made good money, but had no life, now I work for the good guys, can't say who exactly but will say I love my work now, and most of my days are spent helping to protect the natural resources in this state that you all have the opportunity to enjoy.

so I'm an asshat because I'm sick and tired of people trespassing and don't have any other options? Me personally, I'd save the term asshat for the people that are doing the trespassing. Not the guy that has spent all the time and money on the property.

I don't disagree with frustration, I assure you. I'm on a few thousand acres by myself and it is a constant battle maintaining boundaries with people who do not believe the same as I do. It never ends. I hate it, don't tolerate it within my powers, but at the end of the day I'm not going to intentionally harm someone who is not threatening my well being. I don't feel that trespassing alone is cause for that. If a trespasser made any type of aggressive move I would not hesitate to escalate, but a stupid deer is not worth getting in a situation where people get hurt. To each his own.

You hunt in Logan county right? After my near tree stand fall last night I decided to shoot my still loaded ML so I could clean it, someone was hunting on the property next to me and called the warden, he met me on the road out, super nice guy, Tim Campbell I believe, former OK County warden, satisfied that I wasn't up to no good we had a long conversation, told him where my other west Logan county farm was said he would keep an eye on it, I would be happy to give him a call on your behalf.

I'm in Hughes, SE ok is "interesting" at times. I've met Tim a few different times, super nice guy. He's given me a tag for a head we found on the property that we wanted to do a euro mount of and another for a road kill deer that was hit in front of my parents.

I'm no lawyer.

As it turns out, I am. The law of negligence (which is a civil tort, not a criminal action, so there's no prosecutor, just a plaintiff) lays out different duties of care with regard to premises liability based upon the class of the injured party. To an invitee--that is, somebody entering your land for the purpose of doing business or as a member of the general public--you have a duty to actively search for and remedy hazards. To a licensee--somebody you allow on your property despite not being open to the general public, such as a social guest in your home--you don't have to actively search, but you do have to fix anything you know about. To the trespasser, you have a duty not to actively create hazard.

Booby trapping is simply not allowed. Post a sign, and I'll be using that as Exhibit A at trial...and I'll be using your kid's college fund to buy my new King Air.

I get it already, I said I saw that on the news, and I dont necessarily believe it just for that reason. I wouldnt ever set a booby trap in the first place.
