It would be cool to bring her to an ENS so she could try a bunch of different ones out. But as already said, its hard to beat all the good choices out there now. I'm a J-Frame fan, but also like the vast choices in semi-autos. Stay with a top brand and let her find one that she is comfortable with.

You might try going to a range and renting some guns. Check for fit and how she shoots them. Also need to see if she has any difficulty racking the slide on a semi.

She could also try them with holsters to see what is going to offer reasonable concealability to match his daughters body frame.

As already mentioned, renting or barrowing several models to let her choose what she is comfortable with is very good advice.
My wife with small hands initially chose a Kahr TP9 but recently transitioned to a Glock 43. She also attended a ladies only training that was worth every cent.

Village Tactical has a 9mm Shield on Armslist for $249. For lightweight and conceal ability you can't go wrong with the Kel Tec P32 or P3AT or the slightly larger PF9 in 9mm. A little heavier but just as small is the Guardian NAA in either 32 ACP or .380. Best kiss simple would be a J frame size revolver. My wife carried a Colt Cobra until I came across a Ruger LCR in 38 special. You can never go wrong with a wheel gun. I've carried my P32 in a belly band that was quite comfortable and easy to get to. I tried the ankle system and was never quite comfortable with it.

druryj is right (as usual) ... it would be great to get her to an ENS and let her try several. OKC is pretty close for you. gerhard1 is gonna' host another ENS at his place in Renfrow. I'm in Enid and I've got a Ruger LC9, a Walther PPS M2, and a J-frame. If an ENS is not gonna' be convenient for you, maybe we could hook up somewhere and she could at least try what I've got. Just holler.
