This makes me so sad to hear. I have only been married 18 years and I can’t imagine losing her or going through something like you are. I can’t imagine how hard it has to be to deal with. Y’all are definitely in my prayers. I hope that God grants you the strength and comfort to handle this as best you can and that you are able to be at peace. Your wife as well. God bless y’all.

We have dealt with Alzheimer's for my wife's father the last 5-6 years, we lost him in February, and now I am dealing with it for my wife who was diagnosed in 2017. I dread the day that we all know will come just as the point that you have reached. It is a terrible disease.
You have done a wonderful job caring for her at home for as long as you can, but you have to care for yourself as well, and she needs more care at this point than one person can manage.
