How so? You can buy the pieces off of him and do your own install for much less that the full meal deal, but it'll have all the same guts.

I don't understand your comment. I'd like to try a Langdon and a stock Beretta doesn't work for me? just like most stock DA/SA platforms?

OK, I misunderstood your post a bit.

I was stating that you can buy all the Langdon pieces for your stock Beretta. You end up with the same gun internally, just not all the outside finishing. I haven't shot one, but have had the opportunity. If I do shoot one, I'll have to start selling some stuff! :thumb:

I've got a Smith 4506 that I use for home and truck but it's mighty difficult to conceal and it's heavy. One of the ones with the hooked trigger guard. It eats any ammo I've ever fed it and is pretty doggone accurate. I've shot it so much the first DA pull doesn't seem to bother me.

For DA/SA for me nothing can hold a candle to the S&W 3rdGen guns. In particular I favor the 4566, 4516 , 5903, and the 3913. Similar to the 4566 is the 4506 which was my dpt's duty gun while an LEO. I carried the 4516 as my off duty gun along with a S&W 640ND. As my setup now the 4566 is my tactical gun along with the 5903. My CCW peices in rotation are the 4516-2 an the 3913. The 5903 an 3913 are both 9MM while the 4566 an 4516 are 45acp. The only other DA/SA guns I really like are the Beretta M9/92FS, SIG P228/M11 SIG P225A1 an the SIG P220. All of which I own except for the P228/M11, but one day!!!!!
Now as to the original DA/SA, just about any S&W revolver made before the Hitlery's got a hold of them, and a few Ruger's!!

Sorry for not being around. Had some finacial issues of late, and lost my wife to heart issues in July, so it's like my first time out of the proverbial cave to see the world. Just dealing with life and its up an down's!!
Sorry to hear about your wife. We miss your insight on pistols around here. Hope things are on the upswing now.
