Went down this evening just to check it out. A separate entrance if your carrying concealed. OKC PD Officer was very professional and asked for my ID and CC Card. He just glanced and said appreciate you guys. He did direct me to guy that was passing out special wristbands and said it was requested that I wear one just in case I left and came back in. I just put it in my pocket and looked around a while.
Pretty cool place and it will be nicer as the trees and other stuff grows. Nice outdoor concert venue but since no lawn chairs were allowed tonight everyone was sitting on blankets or on the grass. A huge sign listing a lot of prohibited items but I think most were just for the concert tonight. Nice kids water play area and a couple of large ponds.
Downtown OKC area has really got a lot of stuff to do these days. I think it’s a nice addition to the area. I was the Plant Manager at the old main post office when we moved and I never dreamed it would look like it does now.
