We don't have anything remotely like enough information to make generalizations about those things. Not even close.
As for the manmade thing, there's nothing to even say about that. Lots of "manmade" crises have been about to wipe us off the Earth over the years...
Common sense measures, folks:
1.Cover your mouth when you cough...cough into the inner elbow area of your arm (same for sneezing)
2. Wash hands for 20 seconds including between finger...soap destroys the viral capsule/coat
3. Cheap and very effective disinfectant for wiping down surfaces: one-tenth of one percent bleach solution
This is a small amount - less than 1%
(No need to buy expensive disinfectant products that are flying off the shelves)
I suggest rinsing your dishes and silverware and then soaking them for 20 minutes in this bleach water.

Be of good cheer...we can get through this just fine

I've heard several different doctors say we don't know what the true mortality rate is because we don't have widespread testing. There really is no good estimate of just how widespread the outbreak is. How can you make even a calculated 'guesstimate' on the mortality rate when you have no idea how many are truly infected?

Absolutely correct. There could be thousands or tens of thousands or even millions of much less acute cases out there that everyone 'thinks' are just colds. We don't really know.

It appears you have missed my point: The Corona Virus was developed in a biological weapons lab in Wuhan China and was never designed to "about wipe us off the earth " . It has already been highly successful in carrying out its mission of creating fear and panic and doing serious ECONOMIC Damage.
