@OK Corgi Rancher I've got a WW1 era made Colt 1911 stamped like yours that has a five digit over stamped serial number that I was told was made between 1914 and 1917 and I was also told that it saw service in the Korean war also and was a G.I. bring back from Korea, mine has less bluing than yours but there is not a speck of rust on it inside or out......I haven't fired a magazine through it in quite some time but the last time I did it functioned fine.

It's not doing me a lot of good just sitting in the safe and it would just be something else that the wife would probably get screwed on when I pass so I've been pondering on selling it if I can figure out a fair (to both buyer and seller) price.
