I came across BPS with invector chokes I believe made in 1980. It has selector at the base of pump tube that has S and R. I think you can select S to operate like single shot? I haven't had chance to play with it yet. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or not? Thoughts???????????

Single shot or Repeat. It will enable you to change the shell in the chamber or open the action for crossing a fence without emptying the magazine. It was later discontinued.
You are correct.I had one of the old bps.One day when duck hunting i had a goose come over & i put in a #2 and dropped him.I had also done the same thing with a Browniing Auto 5 by using the magazine cut off.Cool feature.
