I have made 3 of them.
Just made one last week for my neighbor.
May have some Chinese parts though I used a wheel hub $3.99 from harbor freight.
A rolling pin and some Zinc plated 5/8" rod from Lowes.
A sewing machine motor and a pulley to spin the 5/8" shaft.
A dimmer switch to control motor speed.
Mounted it all in a plastic crate.

The 5/8" shaft has Gorilla tape on it to allow traction on the spinning drum which is a 2 quart bottle of V8.
Pins are American made.
They are copper pins made from left over THHN stranded wire.
8 gauge to 1/0

How are your handy skills???
You can get a sewing machine motor for under 30 bucks.
Or use a corded or cordless drill with a small pulley attached.
Not rocket science.
You just need to spin 1 roller and have another roller as an idler roller.

You can take this a step farther and make a long shaft and install multiple drums.
1 hour of tumbling and it is done.
I made my first one from a treadmill that donated the rollers and DC motor.
I ran 4 batches yesterday.
