God cursed them for a reason. The curse is to crawl on their belly.

They're actually fascinating creatures and commonly misunderstood. They're essential biological programs the ecosystem requires for balance.

Regardless of their origins they're necessary and can actually make pretty cool pets/display animals. I have a couple myself.

I believe this specimen to be of the species of Reptilicus Disgustus. It must truly suck to have no arms or legs, reduced to slither aboiut on one's stomach; undulating through the feces and urine of other animals, preordained through one's genus, not through genetic malfunction or legitimate injury. It is the manifestation of the debbil.

I find all but the poisonous ones to be fascinating. When the wife and I are out walking, we run into quite a few small (like maybe a foot long) snakes in places like Chisholm Trail park in Yukon.

When we lived in the Panhandle, there were two critters that I couldn't abide and would kill on sight, if possible. Skunks and Rattlesnakes.

I believe that is an example of the common western Scareyurazz sensliss.
While they don't carry dangerous venom, their sudden presence has been known to increase blood pressure or even cause loose stools in some humans.

Edit, spelling.

I need to clarify my stance. If they can kill me then I can kill them. :)

So, Richard Attenborough, in summary;

1. They’re essential keystone fauna in their ecosystem

2. Gamer chicks dig pet snakes
