Being a self employed rancher I don’t ever see retirement in my future. Working until you die is pretty much the norm for people in my business, but it’s a good business to be in. Probably just gonna drop dead some day riding my horse. Honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

I think I read that the break even point is age 82. So, if you wait for full SS pension at 67, you will break even in total $ received at age 82 compared to taking the $ at age 62. If you have health issues & aren’t likely to live past 82, the numbers say to take SS pension @ age 62. If you are in good health & are statistically more likely to live past 82, it might make sense to wait till 67 to take pension. That’s the math anyway, being able to see in the future not withstanding.
