lost his wife a few days ago. She'd had a stroke several years back, and apparently her heart just gave out.
I didn't find out about it until late last night, so I called him today. He told me he went to the Doc yesterday, and tested positive for Covid. He's 73, and we've been friends over 40 years (used to be neighbors).
So far, he's not feeling too bad, and went back to the Doc this morning for a shot. But this is bound to be quite a load on his system so soon after the loss of his wife.
