For any of you guys or gals that kill one just know they are super good to eat.
Like wild turkey meat.
Cut into strips and pan fry it with breading or just seasoning.. you can deep fry it or bake it like chicken.
Shake and Bake!
That just happened ;)

Homie, mama and I enjoyed your company at the restaurant for lunch a couple months back but if we're ever invited to your place for a meal we're just gonna have to say.......

Ape nope..gif

Does anybody here except @swampratt eat them? I've never heard of people eating them. Not to negate his recipe above, but I'm pretty sure I've also seen him post recipes for possum, skunk and armadillo too :D :D

Growing up in bayou Louisiana, I've had a lot of wild game... Lots of squirrel and snake, beavertail, swamp rat, gar, carp, dillo, guinea pig... but I've never heard of people eating bobcat. Learn something new every day.

Skin one of them and see a meat color of boneless skinless chicken thigh and then the mind
goes into cook/eat mode.

I will say it is one of the best flavor meats in the woods.
If anything tastes like chicken it is the Bob Cat.
I will say water turkey is not good eating at all.

There’s a young guy here that’ll take a cat or two from us every year when we trap and skin a cat and eat them.
His wife says they’re really good too.
