I have both -- I would try shooting both to see which one you like better.

The Kimber 6 & 7 round magazines seem to function fine in my P938.
The 7 round P938 magazine DOES NOT lock in the Kimber.
The Micro 9 offers a new 8 round magazine, I have no experience with this new magazine.

The Sig P938 HAD (no longer in the catalog) a .22LR conversion kit with a 3.3 inch or a 4.1 inch (Target) barrel ( I bought the P938-22 with a 3.3” barrel, and found the 4.1” conversion kit). These are getting harder to come by at a reasonable price . !!!!!!

The P938 has a more box (square) shaped slide, the Micro 9 seems more rounded.

The Micro 9 looks more like a traditional 1911 -- The Sig looks like a Sig 1911 (I know that helps a lot !!!!!!)

Good luck on your quest !!!!!!

Whichever one you shoot best. If you shoot them both good then the smaller/more easily concealable. If both conceal the same then whichever one you can carry in the most comfort. If they are equally comfortable then flip a coin.

Thanks for the info! My wife wants a carry pistol and has narrowed the field to these two finalists. She’s shot the 938 (and liked it), but Micro 9s are getting difficult to find locally. I’m a sig fan at heart, and probably will be for quite a while.

If I ever decide to carry, I’ll likely try to find a decent P239. For her though, it’ll come down to what she likes best unless there’s some compelling reason to buy one over the other.

These are not the firearms you're looking for.

Since you said any and all input. Sig P365, hands down. My oldest Son has a Sig P938, and at first I could not believe this. My 365 9mm, that holds 12+1 is the same size as his 938 9mm that holds 7+1.

My wife traded her P238 for a P365 as her EDC. What I carry also. (She now carries the extra mags in her purse.....winner, winner!!)
