After having owned/shot plenty of AR's/AK's and other platforms, I've gotten a little bored. I've been looking for a different 5.56 platform to add to the collection. I've narrowed it down to the CZ Bren 2 and the Galil Ace. Any suggestions on here? Kinda just wanted to have an open discussion on some of y'alls favorite "other" rifles/pistols. Will probably be in a pistol configuration and live most of its life with a suppressor on it.

Go all the way and get a bullpup. Tavor or Aug. Or a roller delayed if you can find it. The Ace and the Bren aren't really different.
I don't have much experience with the Aug. I wasn't a huge fan of the Tavor. Haha. I'm not sure what it was about it. I'll have to give it another look tho. I just narrowed it down to the Ace and Bren because of reliability and piston system. They also feel very familiar in a good way. With the Bren 2 I could drill out the "zero port" on the gas sleeve to run a suppressor nicely. Also heard great things about the Ace suppressed with a KNS adjustable piston. Sorry for the long reply lol. Just some of my reasoning. Thanks for the reply brother!

Can't go wrong with any of them and variety is the spice of life! I run a short ZPAP 85 with the KNS piston and it's a super fun gun to shoot. I just need a 26mm adapter and my wolverine to come out of NFA jail.

That's awesome! How do you like the ZPAP? I've heard good stuff about all the newer Zastava stuff. And I know your pain brother. I'm waiting on some YHM goodies myself. Let me know how you like the Wolverine. Been debating one since they came out. Lol.

It's awesome! I run a StormWerks 1913 rear rail adapter and a JMAC skeleton folder. Also has a TWS railed top cover now.
