On the flip side of that is the humor in the organic folks only interested in putting all natural stuff in their bodies via their mouth but having no issue with putting things they can't even pronounce directly into their bloodstream via the vaccine.

Ya know, the food industry is so untrustworthy... But big-pharma is beyond reproach. Nothing is about money. It's just about your well-being.

You know, that was meant to be humorous....

I'm in the "at risk' category and my heart surgeon has advised me to get the shots as soon as my number comes up. It will be nice to get out of the house and see my kids and grandchildren in person. Then hopefully they can get their shots soon too...... cause I miss hugs and kisses.
Social distancing/mask wearing requirements do not change because of the vaccine. The only thing that will change that is .................. Heck, I don't know what will change it. Rebellion?? New politicians?? I guess you will have to tell me what will change it.

I'm on the fence. My wife is a Dr, and has reservations about it because a vaccine for this type of virus has never been tried before (her words).

She already had covid, and doesn't plan to get the vaccine. I haven't been sick with it that I know of.

I don't take the regular flu shot anyway. Not because I'm anti but I used to get it and I got sick every time after getting it. So no I will not be taking the whoohu shot.

As I previously stated, it’s a very common story.....

I have mixed feelings here. It SEEMS rushed to me, but as mentioned above was it really rushed or is our standard skewed due to red tape and what not. I've tried to get the flu shot yearly as an adult and have never had any symptoms from it, so I'm not afraid of vaccines/needles and I've not had bad experiences from them.
On the flip side, one of my best friends is a doctor and he said I should get it and recommended to me that if I had a choice, to get a certain one (purposefully omitted, doesn't matter which).

I do, however, find it ironic that this was done under Trump and the party who has spent the last 4 years saying anything that Trump has ever had a hand in is going to kill you and is evil, yet they seem to be the side that's more lined up for the shots. Meanwhile, the party who seems to think Trump can do no wrong is seemingly mostly against it.

I took round one last week, and I can't remember the last time I got a flu shot. I just figured they guessed the flu strain wrong about half the time, and haven't had the flu in at least 10 years, so I figured why bother.

This is different in my mind. It's too unpredictable; I know a lady who's 42 year old cousin in perfect health died from it, but her 80 year old mother with health problems was out of the hospital in two days. We lost a paramedic today. I don't know his health history, but he couldn't be any older than me (54). Plus, I'm worried about long term damage if I do get it, and my blood pressure doesn't help. Heck, I may have already had it and don't know.

I'm not allergic to anything, got vaccinated for EVERYTHING as a kid (we all did back then) and never had any kind of reaction to vaccines. I actually READ the pamphlet they give and there's no virus in the vaccine, so it's not possible for the vaccine to give me the Rona. I'm not overly excited about the lack of any guarantee/knowledge how long the protection will last, but for me, taking it made more sense.

If I start growing a third eye in the middle of my forehead, I'll let y'all know pronto.
