Who died and made you the arbiter of what constitutes “the good ole days?”

I was born in ‘83. Things were still pretty good until high school I’d say. The late 90’s brought us cell phones for everyone and the Columbine shooting. I’d say those were pivotal moments in society that have impacted all future generations. At least as I see it. I still grew up riding my bike all over the neighborhood and getting into as much unsupervised trouble as I could, as long as I was home by dark.

At 10pm, the news came on and I had to go to bed. The only exception to that is if somebody awesome was gonna be on with Johnny, then I could stay up. The only ones that were dubbed as "awesome" in my father's opinion were guys like Don Rickles, George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield and a few others. He loved good comedy.
