There was TV after 10 who knew of such a thing we were all in bed and electricity turn off by then. OH yeah party lines we had 7 on ours and it was always busy with a mother and daughter that lived less than a tenth of a mile apart but they wouldnt go see each other so they just sat and tied the phone up.
