Anyone have any jack rabbits around?

I need to work my Drathtaar on some rabbits before our big VJP test coming up in April.

Jacks are the best for this because they run forever. Hoping I might find a few within an Hr of OKC.

I used to duck hunt around loyal years ago. My spot was about 2 1/2 miles of dirt road off of the blacktop. There were jackrabbits everywhere on the way in. Then one year they just kinda disappeared. They are coming back though. I was out that way about a year ago and saw quite a few.

The last 2 years the jacks were really thick. They were even hanging out around our shop, pens and even had 2 that called my front yard home, which is rare. They would lay under a couple of shrubs during the mid day heat. This year the population is way down.

Way less this than last year for sure. None of my places will be an hour from OKC though, most jackrabbit populations won't be. Late spring and summer is the easiest time to find them.
