Fairly lengthy public meeting on KOCO 5 talking about the rolling blackouts. . . err. . . OG&E person didn't like that word, its a controlled service interruption.
Looks like the blackouts are moving forward for everybody.

Socialism comes to Oklahoma first bread lines for the starving fat people. Now rolling blackouts. Gun control next week. Democrats are wasting no time turning us into Venezuela.

The utility companies whine during hot weather if too many AC's are pulling juice and then they whine if it is an unusually cooler season and people aren't running their AC's. We can't win, they're a monopoly and if they want to raise rates they ask for a 5% increase knowing that they will get a 2% increase approved which is probably what they wanted int he first place.

Instead of the power hours and cold weather blackouts, maybe they should push for residents to install battery arrays. Power generated is wasted if not used by consumers. At least then it wouldn't just disappear at their cost that way.

Just got a notice from ONG. Could have to cut gas off due to gas well heads freezing up in this extreme weather.
Glad I'm on propane:thumb:
For all the people without electricity now you may loose your gas too, I feel for you.
I'm done with this 7 day free trial of living in Alaska.

Wouldn't this create a bigger load on the power grid when they turn the power back on & all the furnaces come on all at once & stay on for a longer period of time?

So how about someone from the power industry explain to me how when they do a blackout to conserve energy. The moment its turned back on doesn't it look like a Joe Biden ballot dump at 3 AM? Think a mega spike strait up since everyoned HVAC unit says WTH I am 4 deg below what I should be and they all kick on at once.
