I was usually driving an older model 2 wheel drive PU. In ice or snow I would drive safe and all the sports cars AND 4x4s would blow past me. Later on when I passed them in a ditch I would honk and wave. I have to admit I was a bit of an ******* when younger.

Around here, because we have a fair amount of mountains and trail to adventure to; the WRX with what almost seems like an air suspension and probably 28" BFG KO2 AT tires with a ton of aftermarket lights, roof racks, bumpers, etc to make it similar to a rally car or adventure touring car or something. See them all the time. I bet they would be fun as hell to drive in the dirt and snow.

This is my first time driving a fwd car after spending over 11years driving a pickup in the snow in ice. oh how i miss my trucks in this weather, now i worry about ground clearance and whether the rear of the car will slide out on me. I just take it easy when i have to drive and hope for the best, Once i pay off this car I'm getting another truck.

Just own several types of cars or trucks for any season.

Well, I had to get to work. Yeah, my car sucks on snow and ice. Actually on ice last week it was less than useless, couldn't move 10 feet.

Yesterday on snow I managed to get to work - last week I walked, but with a wind chill of -20ºF I wasn't looking forward to that prospect. It is only 0.7 miles to my office. So I took my Z and went the long way 'round, went slow, tried to find the route with the least incline, and I made it, by going slowly and carefully.

My Tahoe has ground clearance, good A/T tires and lots of weight, all good things on the snow. But it also has a blown head gasket. lol. Doesn't do me much good right now.

I haven’t owned anything except my riding mower that wasn’t 4WD in over twenty years. I don’t have to use a stepladder to get in it, but the 4WD is nice when I need it.

Almost as stupid as this post.

Those 4x4 on dry streets are not in 4x4, they are 2wd until the owner needs to pull a lever to make them 4x4.

I think he just making fun of all the jacked up bro doziers running around here in general.

My bmw's have stayed in the garage. The 4wd Yukon has not had a single issue getting around this week.
