Congrats, same here just over a year now. I’ve enjoyed seeing to tool maintenance/upgrades. Sharpen all blades correctly, mower blades, axes, hatchets, knives (kitchen, pocket, hunting, skinning, fillet, survival, bushcraft, combat knives). Wood chisels. Wood handled implements that need new handles? Rehang them. Not sure of the best way? Watch a few YouTube videos. Buckin Billy Ray is a big help, and wrangler star. My latest project is insulate my garage door better. Feather your nest as well as budget, interest/gumption allows.

Congrats - I'll hit the 1-year mark of retirement next week. Obviously, COVID affected how I spent the last year in many ways but I still got to do many of the things I had in mind. I certainly hope, for both of us, that the coming year is an improvement.

I like to tinker, I look for things I can do a little fixing on and resell to make a buck. I look at Craigslist, the adds on this site and sometimes go to an auction. Bought a Kubota tractor with a bad engine, seller had a replacement but was tired of messing with it. I replaced the engine, fixed a couple small issues and made a grand for my troubles. Gives me something to do that I enjoy plus gives me money for more toys. You have to be careful and have the cash when you see a deal but they are out there. Look for trailers, tractors, golf carts, farm machinery etc. Have to be like the guy that owns a pawn shop, know what you are buying and what you can sell it for.
