Over the last several decades, our college students have systematically been brainwashed to believe socialism and communism was the only way that this country could survive and it would be a utopia for all. Unfortunately the weaker ones-which were the majority, believe this tripe and are now trying to push it through Soros and certain Democrats who have already established they are not for our country and even some who will agree to a "fundamental change" if they can keep their political positions because of the money involved.

Agree but I'll say it's been going on longer than a decade. The "weaker ones" are a result for the most part, there are exceptions of course, of parenting that allowed someone else to shape their kid's mind. And yes it's possible to raise a conservative, Constitution loving kid and send them to a public school. :) And I know for a fact that a set liberal parents who sent their kid to a private Christian elementary and high school just for the private aspect, can still produce a pro choice, LGBTQ supporting, woke socialist. Even though those were not what those teachers taught. Strong parents....strong kids, but it works for both conservative and liberal parents.

Here, but occasionally There.
Good luck. Just for one quick example, "What is 'Social Security?' for $400, Alex".

And as for "Fascism"? Mussolini (who was pretty much the granddaddy of it) described it as "the merger of state and corporate powers". You mean, like using extorted taxpayer money to bail out auto companies, airlines, etc.? Or working with corporate giants to withhold or censor information to influence elections? That type of thing? I'm not sure most Americans realize how far down the rabbit hole we already are.

People have to keep being reminded that Social Security is something that all working people (and all their employers) have been contributing to for all their working lives. Until I've received every last dime that came from my pay and from my employers, starting with my grandfather that hired me to help him with his farming and ranching), I've not been on a socialist program. Oh, and it is very likely that I may never get all that was "contributed" in my name.

It's a socialist program, whether we like it or not. So is Medicare, Medicaid, etc. And then there's those like my father-in-law, who had heart surgery in his early 50s, "retired" because of his health, and at 70 years old is still skimming money off of Social Security, long, long after his contributions would have been exhausted. I'll probably never see any of what I've put in, as I'm not "entitled" to retire until I'm 67, and at 53 that's quite a ways off - especially with the severe dollar de-valuing going on, not to mention the current financial state we are in. Add in many thousands of baby boomers beginning to collect theirs (many probably like my father-in-law), and I just can't see it being viable for that much longer. But no worries; when Uncle Sugar decides to confiscate 401ks, and start doling out "fair" payments to all from that pool, I might get a few checks.

It's more like "extracting," or "confiscating" isn't it. Nevertheless, as unconstitutional as Social Security is, we pay for it. The shame of it all is that investing what was taken would have had a better return, be it in the market or in one's self. Believe me, I'm not where I am due to any government program, and certainly not as a result of having 15% or more taken from my earnings and what I earned for the companies that employed me under the guise that it was(is) for my "security" in my old age. I'm limited by the meager monthly deposits I receive from Uncle Sam in return.

I'd damn sure rather have 15% more of my income put into a private retirement fund. Even if it were mandated to be put into a fund, say the .gov passed a law that said 15% of your income (yes, half from the employer) MUST be put into a 401k of some kind, I'd be happier with it than creating a fund the .gov can raid at will and I'm not sure will be there by the time I get ready for it.
