I know of a guy who has a pistol that he told me he hated. He bought it for a particular use and when trying to sight it in, was giving him shots all over the target from 7 yards. He thought about getting rid of it. That is until his friend shot it and printed a very small group with it. Seems it wasn't the guns fault and now I can't get him to part with it.

First gun I bought was the first gun I sold. Taurus PT145.

Wish I could say that was the only one that ever happened on, but looking back over there years, there have been plenty. Good thing is that if you buy smart you won't lose money on the deal I suppose.

I had a PT145, finally sold it after sending it to the factory 3 times for repairs.

Interesting... I've got a PT145 I bought in 2008 or 2009, it's been extremely reliable. Never misfired a round, it's been a solid shooter for me. I don't carry it anymore since I've 'moved up' in the world, but there ain't nuttin' wrong with mine.

<edit> I did have one I got from someone here (was it @Profreedomokie?), a KelTec, I didn't care for it and traded it off to someone else here. I think it was the trigger I didn't like.

I miss the Super Redhawk I sold for $600, though.

Have you ever bought a firearm, that you really thought you wanted and would like , only to find out that you don't like it and regret buying it.

Yup, it was a Para Ordnance LDA .45. Thing ran like crap. Sent it back for repairs and it still ran like crap.

Only one I ever regretted buying was a Chiappa 1911-22. I tried everything I could think of plus what I found on the net to make it run bulk 22 ammo. It was just OK with CCi ammo but that isn't what I wanted to use. Ended up selling it at a gun show and good riddance.Have since bought a Browning 1911-22 that will run anything I throw at it.

My selling regret was the Browning Auto5 Light12 I bought from Sears in the 70's. Tough times with my business after 911 and needed money.

I bought a RG 25, what a piece of cr@p. I was youngster, LOL.
Also, bought a FIE western .22 pistol for $100 used at a gun show. Alloy and pot metal junk.
Wife wanted a Taurus PT22 also, got rid of it.
