I have never heard of this project. I guess they started with the first version in 2017 and now have a newer version that is going to be carried by Brownell's.

I'm not sure what to think of the polymer lower, grip, and stock all in one piece but they might be onto something here with a lightweight (and pricey) alternative to the original design.
I'll pass. I want to build one as I want.

Full rifles coming soon.

They are a few things about it that I'm not sure I would like, including the $1700 price tag, but it comes in under 5 lbs., so there's that at least.

I agree 100%. I completed my build for far less than half that price. The carbon fiber handguards are the biggest example for me. I'm sure they're cool, but I don't participate in any of the competitions so the cost/benefit is nowhere near a break-even.

I am slightly interested in building one of these. Did you ever get to weigh your build?

Do you think the complete lower I linked to above is a good way to go? Thanks.

I think if you can handle a few more oz. a 10-12 inch lightweight aluminum hg will get you close to the 5 lb goal.

I'm still waiting for ke arms to ship their lpk. You have to use their version or bevel an edge on a standard safety selector if you want to be able to remove it after assembly

I have a drop in Rise trigger I want to use on it or I would have used their complete lower. I think I got the stripped lower for 110 from Brownells.

I still haven't weighed mine. It seems that someone eliminated scales from our house.

That looks like a great deal if you plan to keep the mil-spec trigger. I can't vouch for the KE triggers. I used one of their LPKs in a build last year and half of the components were trash.

They do sell the selector switch by itself.

I used a Rise trigger in mine. Note that there's nothing to hold the hammer pin in place and the KE-15 lower is wider than standard at the hammer pin holes. I ended up ordering a wider one anti-walk pin from another vendor. (It was marketed as being wider for polymer lowers.)

I was a bit put off by how many components were specific to this lower by the time everything was done. The lower that @O4L linked looks like a great was to avoid this frustration, assuming you're happy with the trigger.
