Going thru several boxes of loose ammo from garage sales, several hundred rounds. maybe 1/3 is common stuff but is older head stamps. a few 458 WM, 375 H&H, 45-70, 32-30, 25-20, 45 Auto Rim. some stuff that is not easily identified. something that looks like a 50-90 maybe, has either 90 or 60 on the HS. some of the cases are the early ballon head cases I think. all is probably a minimum of 30 years old and not stored in the best conditions. all typical tarnished brass with some having green corrosion. My thoughts are to polish in walnut media to clean up. Wondering if something turns out to be really rare, if polishing would reduce the value. Looking for others thoughts.

I have no idea of value or collectability but the maker inside my head said a display case of some sort would make very cool wall art for the reloading room/man cave. You could also make a very cool ammo clock if you had enough of these. if you can get them cleaned up put a little Johnson’s paste wax on them to eliminate future tarnishing and hot glue them to a clock face.
