I'm looking to convert some space in my basement into a walk-in vault. The staircase into the basement is much too narrow to get a traditional safe down there. Does anyone in Oklahoma (especially OKC) install modular or custom-built on-site vaults?
These folks do modular tornado safe rooms that may be a good fit. They will create a custom size to it your space. Just a thought.

Wait you have a basement in Oklahoma?
I've not paid a lot of attention to their stuff, but there is a place in Sooner Mall in Norman that does tornado shelters that may interest you.

Pretty common in the older homes made in the 30's and 40's. My grandmother, and aunt and uncle do as well. Crown Heights/Mesta Park area. We've been looking at lake houses, common there as well, walk out style.
