Bad news: I went by the Ardmore Academy, asked if they had gotten any primers lately. Clerk said, "Got some large pistol yesterday, sold them all"

Good news: Clerk looked in the shipping box that was still on the counter, there were about 25 loose primers in the box. He put them in a plastic bag and gave them to me. I put them in my jacket pocket and was very happy about my big score.

Bad news: Wife washed the jacket.

Good news: I let the primers dry overnight, pressed one into a .45 Colt case, loaded it into the conversion cylinder of my '60 Army, pulled the trigger. Primer went "POP" and flame exited the barrel.

Ok so I assume you have been married for some time or the wife has done laundry many times.
What is up with not checking all pockets?
I always check all pockets before the clothes go into the laundry.
Maybe because I do not want to fix the washer when a coin or screwdriver tip gets where it is not supposed to be.

Glad the primers were still good.

I usually do the laundry, she just decided to that day. I usually end up digging coins out of the washer because I forget to check my pockets. At least the bag and all the primers stayed in the jacket pocket.

Wait you can wash jackets? Next thing you're gonna try and tell me is that my jeans can be washed too? Pffft. Get outta town.
